Our Pastor

Pastor Kerby Campbell is the pastor and founder of Northwest Baptist Church. God began to burden his heart in 1995 to come to the Northwest. In October of 1996, the Campbell family moved from Statesville, North Carolina to Marysville, Washington to start an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church.

Pastor Campbell began the church by knocking on doors and inviting people to church. The first service was held on December 8, 1996 with 108 in attendance and 9 precious souls trusting Christ as their Savior.

Since the beginning of Northwest Baptist Church's existence, God has truly blessed this church, not only numerically but also spiritually. There have been thousands saved through this ministry.

The ministries of the church have grown and expanded tremendously. Northwest Baptist Church has something for everyone. God has used Pastor Campbell to accomplish much in this very needy area.

Pastor Campbell and his wife, Kelli, were married on October 13, 1984. They have two sons, Isaac, who is currently in Bible college studying to be a youth pastor, and their baby boy, Jack Kerby, who was born on March 18, 2006.
